4th August 2014

The theme of the HGSA’s 38th annual meeting was “The Changing Face of Genetic Medicine”. A broad range of topics explored the treatments of genetic disorders, the changes in practice of genetic medicine and treatment of inborn errors of metabolism through to risk prediction and genome wide detection of variation in disorders, including cancer.

The HGSA is the foremost scientific body for those working in the field of Human Genetics throughout Australia and New Zealand.  Our membership currently stands at over 1000 members in Australasia.  The society also supports a number of special interest groups.
