Round table discussion: Health Education England’s Genomics Education Programme – Nursing and Midwifery

Both Anna Middleton and Christine Patch are part of the Nursing and Midwifery roundtable, chaired by Lord Willis, which aims to engage nursing school directors, lead practitioners and professional nursing bodies to implement genomics into nursing curricula, competency and practice. With support from Health Education England, NHS England and Genomics England a coordinated approach is being discussed to transform nursing and genomics in the NHS.
