Popular films such as the X-men series will be used by scientists to explore how they can help families engage with new developments in genetics. The Wellcome Genome Campus has come up with the idea as more and more families come into contact with the issue of genetic research through treatments and screening. Jonathan Roberts, genetic counsellor and researcher at the Wellcome Genome Campus and Kings College London is conducting the study.
