Event description:

This talk will introduce current work in the WGC’s Society and Ethics research group examining social and ethical challenges associated with the application of machine learning in medicine. It will review and provide an opportunity to discuss current debates around the ethics of AI in medicine, and consider in more detail the case of the development of digital tools for the detection or diagnosis of dementia and cognitive impairment.
